Homs, SANA – Activities of the 2015 al-Wadi Tourist Festival kicked off in Homs on Sunday after a stoppage of three years.
Minister of Tourism Bishr Yazigi stressed that Syria has been the land of peace for over 7,000 years and will remain so for ever.
For his part, Homs Governor Talal Barazi said Homs has suffered a lot but thanks to the sacrifices of the Syrian army it is now enjoying again the events of joy and happiness.
The five-day festival activities include different performances, dances and visits, organized by Homs Tourism directorate.
