Army establishes full control over a crossing in Qalamoun and several areas in Hasaka

Provinces, SANA, The army and the armed forces on Sunday established full control over areas and killed terrorists of different organizations in others across the country.

Qalamoun, Damascus Countryside

The army, aided by the Lebanese resistance, established control over al-Hamra-al-Qsair crossing point that links Flita barrens in the northern part of the mountainous Qalamoun area in Damascus countryside with the barrens of the Lebanese Arsal town, a military source said.

Al-Hamra-al-Qsair crossing was one of the key supply lines for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists.

Earlier, an army unit directly targeted dens and positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the town of Khan al-Shih and the farms surrounding it in the southwestern countryside of Damascus.

Two of the terrorists’ armored vehicles were destroyed in the operations and 15 terrorists were killed, 9 of whom Saudis and 6 others are of the Chechen nationality.

More Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were killed and others were injured in army operations against their positions in Beit Jin town and al-Maqrousa village, in addition to destroying their arms and ammunition.

Units of the army and armed forces killed  terrorists of ” Jabhat al-Nusra” in the two towns of Khan al-Sheeh and Beit Jinn, and the village of Maqrousse in Damascus countryside.

The Army Air Force destroyed an ammunition depot and a number of hideouts for terrorists in Ein Tarma, Marj al-Sultan and Joubar in Damascus Countryside.

Units of the army destroyed a depot, killed a number of so-called “Liwa al-Islam” terrorists in Zibdeen town in al-Ghouta.

Yemeni terrorist Jaber Mohammad al-Dammaj, and Abbas Mjarkesh, Ziad al-Sati and Nidal Steffo were identified among the dead terrorists.

In the neighboring town of Dir al-Assafer, leader of a terrorist group called Hussam Deib, Abdul-Rahman Sidawi and Jamil al-Derani were killed in an army operation against their gatherings.

Meanwhile, the army destroyed two vehicles for terrorists of Liwa al-Islam to the west of Erbin town, killing a number of terrorists, among them Libyan terrorist Bkheit Mustafa al-Jaber.

In Douma, the army destroyed a den for terrorists near the building of Passports and Immigration; among them were Khaled Sarioul, Ala Jawhar, Issa Wardeh and Abu Maarouf Ka’akeh.

Three terrorists of the so-called Jaish al-Islam were also killed in Douma; Mare’e al-Hamad, Muaaz al-Khateeb and Yousef Amouri.

Hasaka

Units of the army and armed forces, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, re-established Sunday full control over al-Watwatiyeh and al-Alya villages after carrying out concentrated operations in the southern countryside of Hasaka province.

The army’s operations resulted in killing large numbers of terrorists from the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and destroying their arms, ammunition and vehicles, a source in Hasaka province told SANA reporter.

Other army units smashed the last gatherings of ISIS terrorist organization in the main electricity converter station, the Juvenile Delinquency Institute, the Agricultural Arboretum, and the martyrs’ cemetery, the source added.

Army units clashed with ISIS terrorists in Jisr Abyad and the International Driving School, killing and injuring numbers of them.

The Army Air Force also targeted gatherings of ISIS terrorists in Tal Fawaz, Mishrafeh, Jabal Qlei’eh, Makhroum, Tal Baroud, al-Masoun, Um Madfa’ in the southern countryside of the province, killing dozens of terrorists and destroying several of their vehicles.

Aleppo

In the northern Aleppo province, the army operations targeted hideouts and supply routes of Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations on the axis of Kafrah, Mare’ and Harbel in the countryside of the province.

The army operations resulted in demolishing a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns with terrorists on board, the military source added.

Other army operations left a number of the terrorists killed or wounded in Hreitan, Tal Rifaat and Azaz on the international highway leading to the Turkish border.

In the eastern countryside of Aleppo, the army continued fighting the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), carrying out operations against the terrorist organization’s hideouts and positions near the Air Force Academy.

Dozens of ISIS terrorists were killed, while their weapons, ammunition and machineguns-equipped vehicles were destroyed.

In the city of Aleppo, army units targeted terrorists’ positions in the neighborhoods of al-Helwaniyeh, al-Sheikh Maksoud, al-Naanaie, Qadi Askar, old Aleppo, al-Mashhad and al-Lairamoun.

The source confirmed that a large number of terrorists, mostly of the so-called “Liwa Shuhada Badr” were killed and their equipment was destroyed, including weapons, ammunition and mortar launchers.

In the western countryside of Aleppo, terrorists were killed as the army units targeted their positions in al-Saharah town and Daret Izza city.

Other terrorists were killed in al-Zurbeh village, 20 km to the south of Aleppo city, and Khan al-Assal in Jabal Saman area on the southwestern outskirts of Aleppo city.

Idleb 

In the neighboring province of Idleb, the Army Air Force destroyed several dens and dozens of vehicles belonging to
terrorists in Sanqara, Bsanqoul, Bashlamoun, Ein al-Bardeh, Mhanbel, Kafar Oweid, Abu al-Duhour, al- Tibat, al-Rami and Kinsafra in the countryside.

The Army air force killed a number of terrorists, injured others and destroyed their vehicles in Mare’, Azaz, west of Qabtan al-Jabal and north of Hadadeen in Aleppo countryside.

The army’s air force raided dens of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and killed a number of them in Sankara, Basankoul, Ayn al-Bardeh, Mhambel and al-Rami in Ariha, south of Idleb.

More terrorists were killed, their weapons destroyed in Bashlamoun and Shamal al-Taibat, 8 km to the south-west of Jisr al-Shoughour.

The raids also targeted gatherings of terrorists in Abu al-Dhour, Kansafra and Kafr Owied to the south-west countryside of Idelb, killing many terrorists.

Daraa

In the southern region, an army unit clashed with terrorists in the area surrounding Khirbet Ghazaleh town in Daraa province, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their arms and ammunition.

Another army unit carried out a special operation in al-Ghariyeh al-Gharbiyeh village in the northeastern countryside of Draaa, leaving many terrorists dead and a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun destroyed.

To the north of al-Bitar farm in the area around Ataman town, 4 km to the north of Daraa city, an army unit destroyed mortar and rocket launching pads for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists.

In Daraa city, and specifically in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood, the army continued targeting hideouts of Jabhat al-nusra terrorists and its affiliates, inflicting heavy losses upon their ranks in separate areas.

Quneitra

In the neighboring Quneitra province, a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra were killed, and their vehicles were destroyed during an army operation against their gatherings in al-Hamidiyeh village in the western countryside of the province.

Homs

In central Syria, the Army Air Force destroyed vehicles of ISIS terrorists in areas near Tadmur, al-Masek valley, al-Sultaniyeh, al-Saan and near Jazal oil field in the countryside of Homs province.

An army unit also eliminated 14 terrorists and destroyed their weaponry and vehicles in Talbeseh in Homs countryside.

The army also foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate al-Bayarat area in Homs eastern countryside and killed and injured dozens of the assailants.

The army units targeted ISIS hideouts and positions in Maran, al-Khalilyeh, Salam Gharbi, Wadi al-Masek, Jazal, al-Saan and al-Sultanyeh, killing a number of terrorists and destroying a number of their vehicles.

Hama

In Hama northern countryside, the army targeted and destroyed ISIS vehicles in al-Atshan and killed a number of terrorists in the process.
