Damascus, SANA – Syria won a bronze medal and five certificates of appreciation in the Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad (APMO) that was held in Indonesia.
Representing the National Commission for the Syrian Science Olympiad, the Syrian team participated in the APMO for five consecutive hours online, similarly to the other participating teams.
The 7-member team participated through three centers based in Damascus, Tartous and Hasaka.
The APMO prepares for the International Olympiad competitions due next July.
