Istanbul, Mersin, SANA_ Hundreds of Turkish citizens gathered in Istanbul and Mersin cities to express their solidarity with Syria in confronting terrorist organizations which are supported by Turkish government.
In Istanbul, demonstrators who gathered in Kadykoy square condemned the terrorist crimes against the Syrian people in Idleb, Jisr al-Shughour and other Syrian cities, chanting solidarity slogans in support of the Syrian people in combating terrorist mercenaries backed by the Turkish regime.
In Mersin, people gathered to express their solidarity with the Syrians in their battle against the crimes of terrorists, saluting the Syrian martyrs who were victims of terrorist savage crimes.
Waving the Syrian flags and carrying pictures of martyrs, the demonstrators expressed their solidarity with Syrian people, Army and state.
The demonstrators denounced the media disinformation campaign against Syria, pointing out that the situation in Syria is not opposition fighting for democracy as some media outlets purport, but it is “terrorists gathered from all over the world to kill the Syrian people.”
They urged Turkish and international public opinion to hold to account the perpetrators of terrorist massacres in Syria and to show support for Syria in its war against terrorism.
