222 wanted people from Damascus and Homs turn themselves in

Provinces, SANA – 222 wanted persons from Homs and Damascus and its countryside turned themselves in on Sunday so that they could have their legal status settled.

Hundreds of thousands of gunmen and wanted people have handed over their weapons to authorities, and many of them were released after they pledged not to get involved in any activity that could affect the security of the homeland or citizens.

The latest example was on April 30 when 63 wanted persons from Damascus countryside turned themselves in.

Four days before, 150 wanted persons from Homs had their legal status settled and were released after turning themselves in.
