Provinces, SANA – The army units inflicted more losses upon the terrorist organizations during operations on Thursday, striking hard on their positions and hideouts, particularly in Idleb, and leaving large numbers of them killed.
Homs
Units of the army destroyed hideouts for terrorists of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the villages of Rasm al-Tawil, Rasm al-Sab’a and Manoukh in the eastern countryside of Homs province, a military source said.
The source told SANA that the army targeted groups of vehicles belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in the villages of Tal Dahab, Aqrab and Deir Foul in al-Houleh area in Homs northern countryside.
An army unit directly hit terrorist positions in separate areas in al-Rastan city, where terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups are active, leaving many terrorists dead or wounded.
Meanwhile, media circulated information on the death of the terrorists Walid Bakir, Abdullah al-Hossan and Alaa Isper in an explosion of a mine they were trying to plant on al-Hmeireh-Ba’rin road in Homs northwestern countryside.
Hama
On the border between Homs and Hama, an army unit destroyed a hideout for ISIS terrorists in Izz-Eddin village, killing those inside.
More hideouts and vehicles for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were destroyed in the towns and villages of Qastoun, al-Hamidiyeh, al-Hweiz and al-Latamineh in northern and northwestern Hama.
According to a military source, Army units destroyed gatherings of “Jabhat al-Nusra” in al-Ankawi, Rasm Ahmar, Karkat and al-Kahira in Hama countryside, eliminating tens of them, injuring many others and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Deir Ezzor
The army killed a number of ISIS terrorists and injured many others in Deir Ezzor countryside.
A source in the city told SANA that a unit of the army carried out a concentrated strike against dens of ISIS terrorists in Hwejat Sakr, to the south-east of Deir Ezzor, killing a number of terrorists.
Idleb
The army destroyed a convoy of vehicles for terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra organization in al-Mutaleq roundabout in the vicinity of Mastoumeh village in the northern Idleb province, where terrorists have been flowing into the Syrian territory across the Turkish border.
The army also killed a number of terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra in the surroundings of Jisr al-Shoughour through targeting a convoy of vehicles in Idleb countryside.
Army units also killed more terrorists from the organization in Afes town in the countryside.
In the same context, vehicles and weapons belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were destroyed in the villages of Kfar Lata, Sarmin, Fayloun and the area surrounding the brick factory after many of the terrorists were killed.
A military source added that an Army unit destroyed five armored vehicles, eliminated tens of Jabhat al-Nusra members and injured many others in the area surrounding the brick factory in Idleb countryside.
Aleppo
The army carried out operations against terrorist positions in the city of Aleppo in which it directly hit the targets.
Those included terrorist positions in the neighborhoods of al-Jandoul, al-Kastello, Old Alepo, al-Sakhour, al-Lairamoun, Bab al-Nasr, Bustan al-Qassr, al-Firdous, Bani Zaid and al-Tananir Square.
Army units also destroyed hideouts for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Kafr Hamra village and Aazaz city in Aleppo northwestern countryside, which are considered main supply routes for the terrorists across the Turkish border.
Meanwhile, machine guns mounted on vehicles belonging to Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists were destroyed in Daret Izzeh town, 30 km to the west of Aleppo city.
Many of the terrorists there were killed, while others were also targeted and left killed in Khan al-Assal area.
An army unit also killed terrorists to the east of Tal Arn village in al-Sfeireh area in Aleppo southeastern countryside.
Daraa
An army operation targeted on positions for terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and the so-called Liwa Tawheed al- Janoub, Mujahidi Houran Battalions and Sijil Artillery Battalion in separate areas in Daraa al-Balal neighborhood in the city of Daraa.
A military source confirmed in a statement to SANA that the operation left many terrorists killed or injured and several vehicles, mortar launchers and other equipment destroyed.
Lattakia
A military source said the Army air force destroyed terrorists’ dens in Rweiset al-Kharab, Juret al-Rashwan and al-Zaitwna in the northern countryside of Lattakia, killing dozens of them and injuring many others.
Quneitra
In the countryside of the neighboring Quneitra province, an army unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their supply routes in al-Hamidiyeh village, which is a main point for mercenary terrorists to infiltrate from the Israeli-occupied territories.
Meanwhile, the terrorist organizations confirmed on their social media pages the deaths of the Saudi terrorists Khabab al-Khaledi and Abu Jandal al-Jezrawi from Jabhat al-Nusra.
Homs
