Damascus, SANA- Syria’s Grand Mufti Ahmad Badr-Eddin Hassoun affirmed Wednesday that the US and Europe should desist from supporting terrorists who are killing Syrians and destroying Syria.
During his meeting with a delegation of Syrian expatriates from Sweden and Sweden figures, Hassoun said that Syrian people will triumph thanks to their unity, army and leadership and their steadfastness in combating foreign and Arab-backed terrorism.
He also called on the delegation to convey the truth of the crisis in Syria and confront rumors which US and western media are spreading to cover the crimes of terrorists against the Syrians.
The members of delegation said that their visit helped them in exposing the lies of western media about the situation in Syria, stressing that they will convey the true image of what is happening in Syria to Syrian community in Sweden, the Swedish people and the entire world.
