Lattakia, SANA – Al-Jaish (Army) men team for taekwondo has won the National Republic Cup of the championship which was held in the coastal city of Lattakia during April with the participation of 13 teams from different provinces.
The participating teams represented the provinces of Damascus, Damascus Countryside, Tartous, Sweida, Homs, Hama, Aleppo and Lattakia, which was represented through Team A and Team B, in addition to the central teams of al-Jaish, al-Shurta, al- Talaba and al-Shabiba.
Lattakia team ranked second while al-Shurta team ranked third.
