Damascus, SANA- Syria condemned the terrorist attack launched by Ukrainian forces on Russia’s Kursk region asserting that this aggression would not have taken place without the collective support of the West, expressing its support for the Russian Federation’s leadership, army and people in its battle to confront this aggression, that threatens regional peace and security.
“Syrian Arab Republic follows with great concern the news of the terrorist attack launched by Ukrainian forces on the Russian Kursk region, targeting civilian facilities, which led to the death of innocent civilians, including two ambulance crews, and the injury of dozens, including children” Foreign and Expatriates Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
Syria emphasizes that this aggression would not have taken place without the unlimited support that the West used to provide to the Zelensky regime, especially in terms of providing its mercenaries with the latest American and European quality weapons with a view to adding further provocation and escalation against the Russian Federation.
Syria condemns this suspicious silence in the face of this flagrant violation of Russian territorial sovereignty, which exposes Western hypocrisy in dealing with the principles and norms of international law.
