Damascus, SANA Temperatures will remain slightly lower than average as the country is being affected with a low air pressures accompanied with southwestern wet wind in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department said, in its Tuesday bulletin, that heavy spring rain showers accompanied with thunder are expected over various areas across the country in the afternoon and evening.
The speed of southwestern wind will be light to moderate, sea waves’ height is light to moderate.
On Wednesday, the weather will be partially cloudy, spring rain showers are expected over several areas, while temperatures continue to be lower than average for this time of the year.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture’s rain bulletin, several amounts of rainfalls were registered in the Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: 17,7mm in Slenfeh in Lattakia province, 15mm in Ein Hlaqim in Hama province and 12mm in Qaddmous in Tartous province.
