Two US personnel injured in attack on Ain al-Assad Airbase, Iraq

Baghdad, SANA-An Iraqi security source announced that two US soldiers were injured in a bombing that targeted the “Ain al-Assad” Airbase in Al Anbar Governorate, Iraq

The source said in a statement to Sumaria News, “Two American soldiers were injured as a result of an attack on Ain al-Assad base last night,” adding that the circumstances of the attack were not known.

In turn, the US Department of Defense (Pentagon)acknowledged that a number of Americans were injured in what is believed to be a missile attack on the base.
