Damascus, SANA- In response to the repeated attacks by terrorist organizations on Syrian military points and safe villages and towns, units of armed forces, in cooperation with friendly Russian forces, carried out precise qualitative operations by military aircraft, drones and artillery, targeting terrorist dens, sites and vehicles in the countryside of Deir Ezzor and Palmyra.
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement Saturday that the operations caused the complete destruction of terrorist dens and eliminated dozens of them, including leaders of Daesh terrorist organization.
Armed forces operating in the direction of Aleppo countryside shot down and destroyed a number of terrorist drones and prevent them from achieving their targets.
The armed forces confronted the terrorist group that attempted to attack a military checkpoint in Daraa countryside, leading to kill and injured a number of them and confiscated weapons in their possession.
