Syrian youth enters Guinness World Records for playing on Oud

Damascus, SANA- Syrian oud player Hossam Deeb, has entered the Guinness World Records by playing his solo performance, for 27 hours and 4 minutes.

Deep Told SANA that his experience, was not just an attempt, but a story of ambition, will and love for the oud instrument, believing that Syria, which issued the first musical notation to the world, remains a title of art, civilization and high creative values.

During his playing, he presented 200 musical pieces, including traditional songs and many other types, in addition to musical pieces composed by him.

He was born in Lattakia province and began his hobby of playing the oud since childhood in a fertile artistic environment with all kinds of music.
