Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon discuss joint efforts on drug control

Amman, SANA- A quadripartite meeting was held today in the Jordanian capital of Amman to discuss joint efforts to fight against drugs.

The Syrian Interior Minister, Mohammad Khaled al-Rahmoun and his counterparts, the Jordanian, Mazen Al Farrayeh, the Iraqi, Abdul Amir al-Shammari, and the Lebanese, Bassam Mawlawi participated in the meeting.

The ministers discussed means to bolster cooperation to address the common challenges facing the region in relation to the fight against the scourge of drugs, which threatens social security.

They also discussed the fields of security cooperation to ensure the highest national interests in the countries of the region.
