Washington, SANA-Dozens of people demonstrated in the US state of Michigan on Thursday in protest against the US unlimited backing of Israel’s aggression on Gaza Strip during a visit by US President Joe Biden to the city to promote his election campaign.
Reuters reported that Before Biden met with car factory workers, dozens of people packed the streets, shouting slogans refusing the visit, holding slogans saying: “The pro-genocide atmosphere must go” and raising Palestinian flags.
Biden’s travel to the election battleground state was intended as a celebration after the United Auto Workers (UAW) union recently endorsed his reelection bid, but his visit was also met with protests, demanding the president seek a ceasefire in Gaza.
