Putin: The Il-76 plane was shot down by US Patriot missile system

Moscow, SANA-Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed that the shooting down of the Russian IL 76 with a number of Ukrainian prisoners of war on board, as well as its crew, was carried out by the Patriot U.S. system.

“The plane is shot down by the US Patriot system and this has already been established by the technical examination and so far, we do not know why this was done, but Ukraine may want to provoke us and push us to do revenge against it” Putin said in a meeting with members of his electoral campaign team according to sputnik.

Putin pointed out that the Western media is trying to hide the story of the plane crash.
