Damascus, SANA- First Syrian-Russian Media conference called on Monday to transform press cooperation between the two countries into a strategic partnership.
Participants in the conference, that was held by the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus under the auspices of Information Ministry, said bilateral cooperation between Syria and Russia has to establish a broader international and regional cooperation in the face of western press hegemony system.
They demanded the formation of a joint group that puts a comprehensive method for media cooperation that includes purposes, cadres, tools and media production.
