Syrian women’s basketball team wins West Asian Championship

Beirut, SANA-The Syrian women’s basketball team won the West Asian Championship held in Lebanon.

The Syrian basketball players beat their counterpart from Lebanon by a score of 49-38 points, in the last game of the tournament.

In the first round, the Syrian team beat its Iraqi counterpart by 79 to 27 points, and lost to the Lebanese team in the second round by 50 to 48 points.
