Gold medal for Syria at the Mediterranean Beach Games

Athens, SANA-Syrian wrestling national team player Omar Sarem gained the gold medal in the Mediterranean Beach Games currently being held in the Greek city of Herklion.

The Gold came after our wrestler beat the Italian champion by a 3/1 score, the Algerian 2/0 and the Greek other 3/0 to top their group and win the semi-finals against the French champion 3/2 to conclude the victories in the final by beating the Greek champion 3/2.
