Pyongyang, SANA- The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) held a military parade on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of founding Republic, in presence of President Kim Jong Un.
The parade was held at Kim Il Sung Square in the capital, Pyongyang, in the presence of representatives of friendly countries, the country’s state media have reported.
The News Agency also, noted that President Jong Un held talks with a Chinese delegation and a visiting Russian delegation, in which he stressed the continuation of strengthening relations with China and Russia.
Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a letter to Jong Un, expressing his country’s readiness to strengthen strategic cooperation at the level of working teams.
“Russia and DPRK will strengthen bilateral relations to ensure security and stability in the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia,” this came in the letter sent by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the DPRK President.
Pyongyang celebrates on Sep. 9 the annual anniversary of the founding of the country.
