Syria wins silver and bronze on day one of Asian Cup for Universities

Abu Dhabi, SANA- Syrian powerlifting athlete, Ahmad Shahhat, obtained one silver medal and two bronze ones on the first day of the 23 Asian Cup for Universities held in Sharjah, in the UAE.

Shahhat won the silver medal in the deadlift play while the two bronze were for squat and general ranking. This was within the weight of 66 kg.

57 males and 27 females from 48 universities from Asian continent are participating at the Cup.
