Bogdanov: Deputy foreign ministers of Russia, Syria, Iran and Turkey to meet on June 21

Moscow, SANA- The deputy foreign ministers of Russia, Turkey, Syria and Iran will meet in the Kazakh capital, Astana, on June 21st, Russian President’s Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and Africa and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said.

“A large Russian delegation is going to Astana to participate in this meeting ” Bogdanov said in a press statement on Wednesday.

A quadripartite meeting for Syrian, Russian, Iranian and Turkish foreign ministries was held on 10th of last May in the Russian capital Moscow.

During the meeting, the Syrian Arab Republic delegation stressed the need to end the Turkish occupation of Syrian territories, demanding the withdrawal of all the illegitimate foreign forces there, in addition to the non-interference in the internal affairs of Syria and stopping the support for terrorism.
