Malaysia to provide humanitarian aid to quake affected people in Syria

Kuala Lumpur, SANA- Malaysian Foreign Ministry has announced its solidarity with the Syrian people, affirming readiness to provide all possible support to the relief efforts for those affected by the powerful quake which rocked Syria.

“We extend our deepest condolences and sympathy to the victims and their families, in addition to the government and people of the Syrian Arab Republic,” Foreign Minister Zambry Abdul Kadir said in a statement.

The statement added “Malaysia is preparing to provide the required assistance to mitigate the damage caused to the victims in those areas affected by the earthquake.”
