Damascus countryside, SANA- A popular and official celebration was held in Ain al-Fijah town in Damascus countryside on Tuesday, marking the return of the locals to their homes and lands after they had been displaced for years due to terrorism.
“The permission to return to our homes was like the return of the soul to the body following an experience full of suffering,” a number of residents told SANA reporter.
The locals stressed that they will spare no effort to rehabilitate and reconstruct the region till it restores its agricultural and tourist glory which have been sabotaged by terrorists.
