75 wheelchairs to be distributed to needy people in Homs

Homs, SANA – The branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) in Homs province started distributing wheelchairs to people with special needs who were affected by the current events in the country under the terrorism-triggered crisis still raging since 2011.

Deputy Chairman of the branch’s board Baher al-Kayal told SANA that the number of wheelchairs set to be distributed is 75.

Last November, SARC distributed 35 wheelchairs to children under 12 and people who were in need most special need. The chairs were offered by the Syrian community in Australia.
