Cairo, SANA- Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries kicks off its 38th edition Wednesday set for Oct. 5-10 with Syrian participation.
Five films from Syria produced by the National Film Organization will take part in the festival; “A Tale in Damascus” directed by Ahmad Ibrahim Ahmad will compete within the festival’s official and Arab contests for feature-length film among 14 films from more than 14 countries, while the “Days of Bullets” directed by Ayman Zidan and “Al-Hakim” directed by Bassel al-Khateeb will compete in the Arab film contest.
“Cold Echo” directed by Areej Dawara and “Happy Land” directed by Nour Khair Alanam will participate in the short film competition.
