Syrian pianist wins first place in music competition in Switzerland

Bern, SANA- Syrian pianist Juman Omran won a music contest in Switzerland where she took first place among dozens of participants.

The competition is sponsored annually by the Swiss government and this year many musicians of all ages participated, Juman told SANA.

Juman is currently continuing her higher academic studies in Switzerland and her winning first place in the competition is the beginning of her path and she is working to complete it towards universality.

The pianist Juman Omran graduated from the Higher Institute of Music in 2005, and worked as a teacher of solfege and piano at the Salhi al-Wadi Institute and the Higher Institute of Music, and she participated in many concerts in Dar al-Assad.
