Syrian-South African talks on developing economic relations

Damascus, SANA- Syria and South Africa discussed Wednesday means of enhancing bilateral relations and issues of common interests.

This came during a meeting between Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Dr. Muhammad Samer al-Khalil and South African Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Candith Mashego-Dlamini.

Minister al-Khalil underlined the importance of  boosting economic relations between both countries through signing framework agreements on trade, economic and investment cooperation.

For her part, Dlamini underscored the importance of historical relations linking the two countries, as well as the joint cooperation whether in economy domain or in sectors of renewable energies, agriculture, education, tourism, and culture.
