Tehran, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Fayssal Mikdad, discussed with Speaker of Iranian Shura Council, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, international and regional developments and means of promoting bilateral cooperation to make the plans aiming at dividing the region a failure.
The two sides underlined the importance of enhancing parliamentary cooperation and coordination between the two countries, and the importance of promoting bilateral relations in all domains, especially the economic and commercial ones.
Mikdad, for his part, noted the importance of the parliaments’ role in defending the rights of peoples suffering from occupation, terrorism and embargo, reviewing the latest field and political developments in Syria.
Ghalibaf stressed the Iranian parliament’s keenness to develop the relation with Syria and offer the parliamentary support required in this regard as well as following up on implementing all the agreements been agreed upon during his latest visit to Syria.
