Moscow, SANA- Russian President, Vladimir Putin, discussed in a telephone call with his Iranian counterpart, Ebrahim Raisi, several bilateral and international issues, the situation in Syria.
“Putin and Raisi touched upon the issues of ensuring the regional stability and security and reiterated their commitment to continue working within the framework of Astana process to support the settlement process of the crisis in Syria”, Kremlin said in a statement quoted by Russia Today (RT) website.
The two sides voiced their highly appreciation for the level of bilateral relations and their mutual endeavours to further develop them in a way that comprises carrying out joint projects in the economic and commercial fields.
