Temperatures to rise, skies clear to partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 1 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by northern air currents in the upper parts of the atmosphere.

The Meteorological Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general.

The wind will be of changeable direction to northwesterly, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 24/10, Daraa 22/10, Homs 21/06, Lattakia 22/12, Aleppo 22/09 and Deir Ezzor 25/ 13.
