Syria gains gold medal at Kladno tournament in Czech Republic

Prague, SANA- Syrian athlete Majd Eddin Ghazal won on Friday a gold medal in the high jump with a height of 2.25 meters at Kladno Forum in Czech Republic.

The personal record of Ghazal is 2.36 meters in the Challenge Course in Beijing 2016.

In his latest achievements, he won the bronze medal in the World Championships in London in 2017, after jumping 2.29 meters.

In 2019, he achieved the gold of the Asian Championship in Doha.

He has earned the best world and Asian record by jumping to a height of 2.31 meters.
