Damascus, SANA- 40 new coronavirus cases, 119 recoveries and 5 deaths were recorded in Syria on Tuesday, according to a statement by the Health Ministry.
The statement showed that the total number of the coronavirus cases detected in Syria has reached 50,167, of which 32,155 while 2,884 others have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was reported a week later.
