Damascus, SANA- 73 new coronavirus cases, 97 recoveries and 5 deaths were recorded in Syria on Tuesday, according to the Health Ministry.
A statement by the Ministry showed that the total number of infections reported in the country has reached up to 49,423 of which 30,670 have recovered and 2,823 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was registered on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported on the 29th of the same month
