Damascus, SANA-93 new coronavirus cases, 96 recoveries, and 6 deaths were recorded in Syria on Friday, according to the Health Ministry.
In a statement, the Ministry said that the total number of coronavirus cases detected in the country has reached to 49,101, while the recoveries have amounted to 30,276, and the fatalities have climbed up to 2,804.
On March 22nd, 2020, the first coronavirus case was registered in Syria in a person who came from abroad while the first fatality was recorded on the 29th of the same month
