Cabinet approves bills, stresses on opening new petrol stations to reduce congestion

Damascus, SANA – The Cabinet approved on Tuesday a draft law regarding all administrative units in the provinces units with a tourist and archaeological development character.

A 17 % share of funds will be distributed to all the administrative units by a decision from Local Administration Minister, according to the draft law.

The Cabinet also endorsed a bill on applying employment and workers system at the Syrian Electronic Payments Company.

Chairing the Cabinet’s session, Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi directed the Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ministry to speed up its effort to establish new petrol stations in Damascus and its suburbs to reduce congestion at gas stations.

Afterwards, the Cabinet discussed the draft law on amending the decree of establishing the General Establishment for the Distribution of Textile Products and the measures needed for its approval.
