Damascus, SANA-The Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 393 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 70 coronavirus patients recovered, while 9 others passed away.
In a statement, the Ministry added that the total number of the coronavirus cases detected in Syria has reached up to 32,973 till now, of which 23,528 have recovered, while 2,207 others have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality from the virus was reported on the 29th of the same month.
