Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Ministry has condemned continued attempts of extremist forces to destabilize the situation in Lebanon through carrying out terrorist acts.
Russia confirms again its support for sovereignty, territorial integrity and stability in Lebanon, the ministry said in a statement Monday, pledging help for the Lebanese government in fighting international terrorism.
Last week, Nine people were killed and more than 35 were injured in two terrorist suicide bombings which targeted a cafe in Jabal Mohsen area in Tripoli, Lebanon.
The terrorist organization “al-Nusra Front” claimed responsibility of the terrorist attack.
The Russian Foreign Ministry offered condolences to the Lebanese people, government and the families of the victims, stressing that “masterminds of the terrorist act in Tripoli should be found and punished.
