Moscow, SANA- Russian President’s Special Representative for the Middle East and North Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov discussed with Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad measures to hold consultation contacts in Moscow between the Syrian government and “the opposition” to find a solution to the crisis in Syria.
Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Monday that during the meeting, the two sides held talks on means to run consultation contacts among the Syrians at the end of January to help find a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told ITAR TASS in an interview that “opportunities to resume dialogue on Syria are improving.”
