Health Ministry: 138 new coronavirus cases recorded in Syria, 22 patients recovered, 6 passed away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry said on Wednesday that 138 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 22 patients recovered, 6 passed away.

The Ministry, in a statement to SANA indicated that the total number of infections which have been registered in Syria till now has reached up to 28,952 out of which 22,642 patients have recovered, while 2,055 passed have away.

The first coronavirus case registered in Syria was on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was reported on 29^th of the same month.
