Moscow, SANA- Russian Deputy Foreign Minister، Sergey Vershinin، discussed in a phone call with the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, the situation in Syria and ways to find a political solution to the crisis in the country.
“During the phone call, a detailed discussion on the current situation in Syria was made , with emphasis on the task of intensifying humanitarian aid and pushing the political settlement process on the basis of respecting the country’s sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity, as stipulated in UN Security Council Resolution No. 2254.”, Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
