Health Ministry: 34 new coronavirus cases recorded, 5 cases recover, 4 pass away

 Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 34 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 5 coronavirus cases recovered and 4 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 24,529 till now, of which 21,609 have recovered while 1,774 others have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was registered on the 29^th of the same month.
