Health Ministry: 51 new coronavirus cases recorded, 292 patients recover, 6 pass away

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 51 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 292 coronavirus patients recovered, and 6 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry noted that the total number of the coronavirus cases registered in Syria has reached up to 23,490 till now, of which 19,316 have recovered, while 1,670 others have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria in March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29^th of the same month.
