Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry said that 79 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, while 168 patients have recovered and 7 have passed away.
The Ministry added in statement on Monday that the total number of infections has mounted to 22977 of which 17339 have recovered and 1610 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was recorded in the country on March 22nd last year, while the first fatality was registered on 29th of the same month.
