Health Ministry: 85 new coronavirus recorded, 171 patients recover, 6 pass away

Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced Saturday that 85 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, 171 cases have recovered and 6 patients have passes away.

The Ministry, in a statement to SANA, said that the total number of infections has amounted to 22,818, of which 16,992 have recovered and 1,598 have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in the country on March 22nd last year, while the first fatality was registered on 29th of the same month.
