SARC distributes food baskets to 1,200 families in Halfaya, Hama Countryside

Hama, SANA- The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC)-Hama branch has distributed food baskets to the people residing in Halfaya city in the northern countryside of the province.

Director of SARC branch in Hama, Mohammad Watti told SANA that 1,200 food baskets were distributed to families who returned to the city after a field assessment for the families in the city was conducted late last year, with the aim of enhancing their stability and meeting a part of their daily needs.

Watti indicated that the baskets included various materials and food commodities needed by the families such as sugar, rice, oil, flour and lentil.

Last month, SARC branch in Hama distributed 1,090 food basket to families living in Halfaya city.
