Abu Dhabi, SANA- Player of Syrian national team for special sports, Abdul Hakim Al-Bakr, won a gold medal in shot put throwing in the final competitions of Fazza International Championship currently held in the United Arab Emirates, the final qualifying stage for Paralympic Tokyo.
On the first day of the competitions, athlete Mohammad Khalid Mohammad has won the first silver medal in shot-put throwing competition at distance of 13,91, and Abdul Hakim al-Bakr won the other medal in discus throwing competition when he registered 33,35 meter and Ali Asa’ad won a bronze in shot put throwing competition within the blind category at distance of 12,24meters.
On the second day of competitions , Athletes, Mohammad Khalid Mohammad has won a silver medal in javelin throwing competition as he had thrown for a distance of 43 ,69 meters, Alaa Abdul Salam won another silver medal in shot put throwing competition, after he had registered a distance of 7,52 meters and Ali Asa’ad won a silver medal in shot put throwing competition, in addition to achieving a new Syrian record in discus throwing for the blind category of a distance of 31.61 meters, where was ranked 4th in this competition.
