Archbishop Hanna: Syria has adopted Palestinian cause, and still defends it

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Sebastia Atallah Hanna affirmed that Syria has adopted the Palestinian cause since the occupation of Palestine in the year 1984, and it still defends it, saluting the Syrian people, army and leadership who have remained steadfast in the face of the aggression which has targeted the country for years.

In a statement to the Syrian T.V. channel on Saturday evening, Archbishop Hanna noted that those who have conspired against Syria are the same ones who are conspiring against Palestine and who seek to liquidate the Palestinian Cause.

He reaffirmed that occupied Jerusalem is facing a real danger due to the attacks launched by the Israeli occupation entity, and its settlement and Judization schemes, stressing that the Palestinian people will not surrender to the occupation’s practices against them, and they will continue to defend their identity and their Arab and Islamic sanctities.
