Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will remain above average in most regions as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by westerly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a little chance for showers over the coastal regions accompanied by thunder showers, while at night, the weather will be cold in general, warning against fog over the mountains, and the inland, al-Qalamoun and Ghouta regions.
The wind will be easterly to southeasterly with a low to a moderate speed and it will become active over the coastal mountains, while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 17/07, Daraa 15/05, Homs 16/07, Hasaka 16/03, Tartous 21/14, Aleppo 14/03, Idleb 15/05 and Deir Ezzor 22/06.
