Moscow, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, offered his condolences for the Syrian leadership and friendly people over the demise of Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem.
Minister Lavrov said in his condolence paper, published on the Russian Foreign Ministry website on Monday “I received with more sadness and sorrow the news about the death of my colleague, Walid al-Moallem, whom we remember as a wise diplomat, who has effectively assumed the foreign policy missions commissioned to him in Syria.
The Presidency of the Cabinet and the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry have mourned the death of Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem who passed away on Monday at dawn.
